This is “war.” This is Gaza. This is Palestine. Do you not see how bad things have gotten? And wats all over the news? Lebron going back to Cleveland. How can that be anywhere near the media when this is going on? How can you people turn a blind eye and pretend like this isn’t going on? It’s pretty pathetic. I posted a few videos and a few pictures and instead of everyone sharing and trying to raise awareness I lost over a hundred followers. To hell with you all who unfollow me because I show “bloody” pictures. Like I said in my previous post, I’m sorry for ruining your perfect day for a few seconds when this mans life has been ruined forever, like thousands of others in Gaza now. NOW! DO YOU PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND THIS IS CURRENTLY HAPPENING? RIGHT NOW AS YOU READ THIS PEOPLE ARE DYING?! IS IT SO HARD FOR YOU TO RAISE AWARENESS? IS IT? WHAT IN GODS NAME IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? HOW CAN YOU BE OKAY WITH NOT KNOWING ABOUT WHATS GOING ON?!? HOW.
Its because most Americans do not give a shit what happens in other countries,to other people. But if it WAS happening to American’s all of a sudden, they’d give a shit. Priorities in America have been far outta whack for a long, long time. And it’s sad. Who gives a fuck who’s American, and who isn’t? We’re all human beings sharing space on the same planet, only divided by lines on a map
Omg!!! I feel so sorry for that poor man. That child did not deserve this. It’s times like these I hate being American. We DO have our priorities out of whack. We are oblivious to the suffering, unhelpful to the needy, and unyielding to the oppressed. We could see a homeless person and deny them $10 to buy some food for the day, but the minute we need some money, we cry and beg anyone for $50 for a movie ticket, $20 for new gadgets, or $100 for a pair of shoes. We have no peripheral view in life. We see what we want, and will do everything in our power to get it.
We also stereotype to the extreme. After 9/11, ever Muslim or Indian was immediately a terrorist. This picture shows how wrong we are. Did that man cause any harm to us? No. Did he threaten to hurt us? No. But when we see his ethnicity, we don’t care that his child was just killed in such a brutal, horrific way. He may have wen seen it happen. He may have been sitting on his step, watching his child playing ball, or telling her a story when suddenly a blast takes the life from his baby.
I really hate being American sometimes.
